Yes — completely. Every calculator, lab, reference and gallery works with no internet and no account. The only time it reaches the network is when you tap an external link (it opens your browser) or the Support email (it opens your mail app).
On iOS the compass heading is provided by Core Location, so the app requests "While Using" location only to read your heading. On Android it reads the magnetometer directly and needs no permission. You can decline it — the rest of the app works, and the beam bearing is still computed from the grids you type.
They use standard amateur-radio formulas and are excellent for planning and building intuition. For design-grade antenna work, model in a NEC tool; for exact band edges and limits, check ARRL / IARU. Each panel's (i) button explains the formula it uses.
They are stored only on your device and used to pre-fill the Support form and the grid/beam tools. They are never transmitted — we never receive them.
No. Every tool, component, connector, antenna and rig-control illustration is drawn as scalable vector art inside the app — nothing is downloaded.
